Rules

Yearly NHS Requirements:

• 3.5 Cummulative GPA

• 2 NHS sponsored/ sanctioned activities

• 10 hours of tutoring at PHS, SMS, or OMS (may be done at a middle school)

• $10 dues

• Attendance at General Meetings (2 excused absences allowed)

• Attendance at Committee Meetings (1 excused absences allowed)

Probation/ Dismissal:

Seniors will be placed on probation at the end of the first semester if they have not completed:

1 activity, 5 hours of tutoring, and paid dues, or if their GPA is below 3.5

Seniors will be dismissed at the end of the 1st semester if they have not:

completed overdue activities or increased the GPA which caused them to be put on probation last year
